In June, Maribor will once again host an annual gathering of experts from the software industry and academia that are willing to present and exchange their experiences and knowledge regarding the use of advanced approaches and tools to develop modern information solutions.
Major changes in the interoperability and integration of heterogeneous software components and their services are being driven by advances in technologies related to Java, .NET, XML and web services together with the corresponding mechanisms for business process orchestration and choreography. Although end users are unaware of the above-mentioned issues, the benefits and opportunities for them are plainly apparent. They can access information services regardless of their location and/or the devices they use.
Since new technologies and tools do not guarantee better results by themselves, it is important to identify and implement approaches that will result in successful projects. Experiences, proven practices and patterns might help us to establish efficient service-oriented architectures of information systems that support business goals.
The knowledge and information shared at OTS conferences enable us to efficiently adopt and utilize new tools and approaches. Therefore we would like to invite you to participate at this year's conference OTS'2005 Object Technology in Slovenia that will be held on the 15th and 16th of June in the Habakuk Convention Center in Maribor, Slovenia.
